What's included in the free trial?
All Pro features are unlocked for 14 days — up to 20 competitors, hourly checks, Slack alerts, and unlimited history. At the end of the trial you can stay on the Free plan or upgrade.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes — upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the start of the next billing period.
What counts as a "competitor"?
Each URL you add to your watchlist counts as one competitor. You can add, remove, or pause competitors at any time.
How do you detect changes?
Vigil fetches a full HTML snapshot of each competitor's page on your chosen schedule. We diff consecutive snapshots using structural similarity to identify meaningful changes and score them by severity.
Do you share my competitor URLs?
No. Your watchlist is private to your account. We never disclose which domains you are monitoring.
